I feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to start?
This is perfectly normal as there is a lot to learn. I would suggest starting in the learning portal under foundations and doing the foundational training first to give you an understanding of how it all works and then moving on to the create section. Once in the create section design alongside the videos so that you build up your confidence and skills and see what you enjoy. Its important to go at your own pace as you will likely be learning a lot of new skills and taking in a lot of new information. So don't be hard on yourself - you have got this!
I can’t pick any niche or can’t decide between 2 or 3 niches?
Start designing items for all the niches you are interested in. You will quickly realise if you prefer making for one specific niche over another one. Pay attention to what you enjoy or don't enjoy and let this guide your decisions. If you like them all - then just pick one to start with and you can always create another store later on.
Creative fabrica licensing?
A lot of people when starting out misinterpret the licensing on products on creative fabrica especially for fonts. Please note that you cannot use any creative fabrica fonts in an editable template. In order to use a font or element downloaded from creative fabrica you will need to flatten these in your design. This means that you will need to save your design as an image so that people cannot copy the fonts or elements into another design. They are fine to use in printables where your finished format is a PDF, PNG or JPEG file. Just always refer to their terms and conditions so that you make sure you comply.
Can I sell physical and digital products in one shop?
We generally don't recommend having digital products and physical products in one shop as it can be confusing so we recommend keeping them separate. However, sometimes it makes sense to have both in one store - for instance if you are offering the same product in both physical and digital format.
I don’t know how to price my product?
It's important to look at your competition when pricing your products as you want to be at the high end of the middle of the market when it comes to pricing your products.
Can I have more than one niche in my store?
Yes you can, this would be considered a general store. However, in order to make a general store work successfully you need to treat each niche like its own mini storefront and have a lot of products for each niche.
